What do you do?

I think of myself as a carver who is having a break doing some plane making and a bit of cabinet making.

But I don't carve much anymore.
Causes me too much pain.

I carved this as a doodle - made the whole thing up as I went along (no layout or drawing at all) when I was a teenager, carved in mahogany.

Just thought I would show you a few pics of it. I have collected the 'real thing' many times since. That is Ivy covered branches - especially when the inside branch rots away and leaves an Ivy tube - I have a few in the garden...
